Energy-aware core allocation for many-core processor based on the market-oriented programming

(in English) Recently, a many-core processor, which has a large number of independent cores, has been developed. For utilizing such processors, it is important to allocate computation resources for each concurrent task adequately. In this study, we propose a core allocation method based on the market-oriented programming which is one of the resource allocation methods using market mechanism. Our proposed method uses the Amdahl's law as measure of parallel computation performance for adequate core allocation. We introduce a power-saving agent to our market model for considering power-saving. Further, we show the validity of our proposed method by computer experiments.
