We have been studying a wireless Ad-Hoc Network having fault-tolerant functions. The advanced fault-tolerant networks are still behaving well in the cases of power loss, network cable failure and partial infringement of the system. Also, We developed a Regional Protection System that terminals which children have regularly send packet periodically to ensure the safety and relief of children as a useful application that works with the network in normal times, and this system into effect at Shiojiri-city in Nagano prefecture and evaluate the ability of the network and the system. In this system, we use ARIB STD-T67 of the specific low power radio as the communication protocol. However, in the conventional protocol, collisions frequently occur at locations where there are many terminals. To solve the problem, separately from a timer measuring small time, we innovate the timer measuring big time to decide random delay time. We propose a method to disperse transmission timings of terminal with this new timer, and evaluate the effectiveness of this method. |
