Performance Eavaluation of Complex Routing in Wireless Mesh Networks

(in English) In this paper we evaluate the performance of Complex Routing for temporary information sharing in wireless mesh networks built in a geographically limited area. Complex Routing determines a unique route by operation of complex numbers of each node. In addition, it includes an adaptation mechanism for changing the complex numbers. The temporary information sharing indicates that in a situation that information senders and receivers freely appear in the network, information is forwarded from an information sender to a receiver. In simulation, we compare Vector Routing and Flooding to Complex Routing. Vector Routing determines a unique route by operation of two-dimensional vectors of each node as Complex Routing determines. Simulation results show that Complex Routing in some cases achives as reliable routing as Flooding that requires more number of times of message forwarding to locate a receiver, and also that it is better than or equal to Vector Routing in terms of reliable routing.
