Evaluation using Applications for RC-OS which supports Reconfigurable Computer System

(in English) FPGAs which allow users to create arbitrary logic circuits are used for speedup of the processing in many fields. We have been researching and developing a reconfigurable computer system(RC-system) which consists of host computer and some FPGAs as programmable resources. RC-OS was developed to improve the environment to use the RC-system more easily. RC-OS runs on the host computer, and manages FPGA resources. RC-OS also provides some APIs to control FPGAs for applications.
In this paper, we implement the RC-OS on the prototype hardware and evaluate API execution time. After that, we calculate RC-OS's overhead by using an application of 2 Dimensional Discrete Cosine Transform.
