Research on effect of sharing of perspective in software review

(in English) In later process of software development, the cost for error correction is tend to be expensive. Executing the review/inspection for software requirements specifications and software source code to find errors in the early stage, it is enable to improve the quality and productivity and to reduce the total development cost. On the other hand, though the review quality depends on the ability of a reviewer, it was not considered in the conventional review process. In order to improve the review quality, this paper proposes a model to share the review viewpoint among multiple development projects in an organization by using checklists made by high skilled reviewers who can find many errors. Based on the proposed model, we developed an Inspection Support System, and the paper reports results on the assessment experiment carried out in our laboratory.
