The purpose of this research is developing a method for detecting tumors in chest region on given PET images. It is difficult to detect tumors as specific pattern on PET images because of their variety. Therefore, we
construct a model of normal PET image pattern from some normal cases. Thus, The system detect outliers from it as tumor candidates. In the model construction, we use both subspace method and non-rigid registration method. In this article, we also apply the proposed method to clinical follow-up. |
