Fast Generation of Formation Data on Soccer Broadcast Video and a Proposal of Data Presentation and Scene Retrieval

(in English) We propose a method to quickly generate and effectively display rough "formation data" in soccer broadcast video and a way of scene retrieval using the data. This proposal is aiming at a useful service on WEB video distribution platform for users having fixated interests in soccer, such like a graphical presentation of player's formation, a scene retrieval based on the similarity of formation and so on. Formation data is built by the rough specification of player's allocation based on block-based fast camera angle search as our past research and the aggregation of player's allocation data by a constant time interval. And in this paper, we suggest an example of a technique for graphical presentation of formation data. Additionally, we define a similarity between formation data, and show examples of scene retrieval based on the similarity.
