| 抄録 | （和） | 今日，在日外国人が年々増加しており，外国人と対面でコミュニケーションを行う機会が増加している． しかし，対面での異文化間インフォーマルコミュニケーションにおいては，それぞれの人間が持つ文化的な背景が異なるため，相互理解が困難である． そこで本研究では，文化的な背景がもたらす知識の違いを補うために，会話中の名詞を可視化する対面型異文化間コミュニケーション支援システムiGengoの開発を行った． iGengoは，旧システムに比べ，(1)会話の話題に沿った情報の提供，(2)リアルタイムな情報の提供，(3)ユーザビリティの高いインタフェースの提供の機能追加および改良を行っている． 評価実験の結果，これらの機能は対面での異文化間インフォーマルコミュニケーション支援において，有用であるという知見が得られた． |
| （英） | Foreign residents of Japan have increased in these days; the Japanese come to have opportunities for communicating with foreigners in face-to-face environment. Significant barriers exist in intercultural communications because of the differences in language and culture. Therefore, it is not easy to achieve in mutual understanding in conversations. In our study, we specifically focus on the additional information as a method for overcoming the differences between cultures. We have developed a face-to-face intercultural informal communication support system, named iGengo, which can extract added nouns from voice messages and acquire the relevant text and image annotations automatically. iGengo has the following special functions: (1) display the relevant information in a conversation, (2) display information messages instantly, (3) use of improved user interface. As the result of the experiment, we found that these functions are effectively to support a face-to-face intercultural informal communication. |
