We have shown the possibility of one-dimensional wireless power transmission based on a directional coupler and filter. The key improvements in the present application from the prototype circuit components include the broad-side coupling of two signal lines, usage of one of the two signal lines for the power transmission line with modification to a simple straight line, and new circuit matching scheme. In addition, we propose and examine practical structures full of utility for the mobile wireless power transfer system. |
