Naoki Yamauchi, Tadashi Ohta, Kazumasa Takami (Soka Univ.) NS2009-223
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Today, research and development relevant to the Home Network is performed very actively by the home appliance industry. But, service programs and appliance control programs of current Home Network system depend on each appliance and vendor. To solve this problem, this article proposes new software architecture for home network. In the proposal architecture, appliances are assumed the container of logical device and programs are described based on the logical interface. The logical interface defines what the information communicates and doesn’t depend on appliance. So, programs don’t depend on appliance. Also, we have developed a prototype of home network system. We evaluate and confirm the activity of proposal method.
