Acoustic features of "un" and the preceding utterance for classifying discourse functions

(in English) Japanese ``un'' can be classified discourse functions as Aizuchi and answer/acknowledgement. In this study, we purpose to classify the discourse functions with acoustic features of ``un'' and the preceding utterance. We adapted generalized linear model for classifying the discourse functions with the acoustic features. This model has selected dynamic range of F0, the time lag from F0 peak to the end of accentual phrase, dynamic range of power level and overlap time between ``un'' and the preceding utterances as explanatory variables, and archived accuracy rates of 89\% for Aizuchi and 76\% for answer/acknowledgement.
