Prototyping Context-Aware Niche-Learning System

(in English) “Niche-Learning” is a method of digital signage for delivering digital learning materials to public spaces on the university campus. Niche-Learning prototype has been installed to a public space at the University of Tokushima and is now in field testing. From the viewers’ remarks, we think that the Niche-Learning should be context-aware, because its current delivery method is unidirectional. This paper outlines the Niche-Learning and describes a design for Context-Aware Niche-Learning and its prototype system.
