(in English) Wireless mesh network (WMN) is a very scalable network constructed by radio-connected access points
(APs). Although the APs can communicate with any other by their wireless connection, the links should be optimized because of the limitation of the wireless interfaces equipped with them. Moreover, The traffic going to the Internet may overload the specific APs that act as gateways between WMN and the Internet. The conventional methods to heuristically optimize routing trees and to balance gateway load do not effecitvely perform when traffic changes dynamically. This paper proposes a link design method using ant colony optimization (ACO) for the dynamic traffic. The simulation results show that the proposed method can find the efficient solutions even when the offered traffic changes.
