To utilize the store-carry-forward (SCF) routing in a scalable manner, we are proposing a scheme to narrow SCF domains, which divides the entire service area into some virtual segments. This year, we conducted a field experiment of vehicle information delivery. In this experiment, various types of information such as road congestion information and bus crowdedness information were collected by busses and delivered to other vehicles through an inter-vehicle and road-to-vehicle communication network based on the technical concept of our proposed scheme. We report the experiment and investigate the effectiveness of the vehicle information delivery network through the results obtained in the experiment. |
