Variational Bayes approach for NIRS-DOT inverse problem

(in English) NIRS-DOT is tomography which is reconstructed from NIRS data. NIRS-DOT requires to solve the inverse problem which has ill-posedness. In general, a solution to the inverse problem has been obtained by the Minimum norm estimation. In this research, we propose the variational Bayes approach to solve the NIRS-DOT inverse problem. It enables to provide suitable reconstruction for the sparseness of the object. Numerical experiments demonstrate that this method has better estimation accuracy than the Minimum norm estimation.
