IE ANew Method Using Appearance of the RTT Minimum to Estimate Available Bandwidth of Bottleneck-Links

(in English) Many available bandwidth estimation methods by end hosts have been proposed. Famous one is SLoPs, which uses probe packets. Such method brings about temporal heavy overhead traffic, therefore, it causes severely increase of networks loads. To avoid networks loads increase, we proposed a method based on probabilities of minimum RTT. This method can estimate bandwidth usages and available throughputs of bottleneck links without severe additional network loads.
Simulation results shows that the proposed method can estimate utilized and available bandwidth accuracy.
