In this research, we construct the statistical shape model of the liver, and its application to the diagnostic support of cirrhosis from the constructed model. We construct the statistical shape model by using the CT image of normal and cirrhosis livers and propose that the coefficients of the model are used to recognize whether liver is normal or abnormal. We prove that it is feasible to diagnose liver cirrhosis by using the statistical shape model of the liver. |
