Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Along of the development of filming equipments, communication equipments, and so forth, the video is increasingly used as the medium of communication. In the present study, we proposed the mechanism that can automatically shoot and edit the sequence of events which occur in the filming space. Every 0.2 sec, each video shot by four Web cameras for recognizing the circumstance and each speech sound collected by the ear-hook microphone were processed to work out the event information. Then, a shot image comprehensible to the viewer was derived from the event information on the basis of the film grammar. And among the videos simultaneously shot by eight DV cameras for shooting, the videos were selected which contained the shot image. Finally, they were combined in sequence to make up the video about the sequence of events in the filming space.
