Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The interaction strategy of the conversational robot under an ubiquitous environment is an important research field. To investigate the mechanism of conversational atmosphere created by turn-taking and surrounding environment, the experiment for the evaluation of impression was carried out with the several turn-taking patterns using three robots. The experimental results indicated that the difference between turn-taking patterns affected the formation of conversational atmosphere. These results were similar to the previous study using CG agents. We found that the awakening level tended to be higher in the bright side. We also found two opposite cases in relation to the degree of affinity. One case was that the degree of affinity increased and the other case was that the degree of affinity decreased, when the distance between the robots and the observer became close.
