(in English) When a mobile node transmitting real time video traffic using DCCP CCID3 hands over between two wireless LAN APs where their congestion situations are different, it is difficult to change the transmission rate according to the change of communication environment because of the control of sending rate depends on feedback information.To solve this problem, we have proposed a predictive rate control for real time video streaming with hand over and have been discussing the suitable rate estimation scheme for this purpose.We confirmed that the sending rate can be estimate from jitter of probe packets which are sent periodically to the wireless network.However, the result of experimentations in a real environment revealed the difficulty of such estimation.In this paper, we evaluate the relationship between jitter and DCCP sending rate in environment with / without background traffic and the effect of RTS/CTS on estimation of sending rate.The results show that the sending rate can be estimated from the jitter with errors less than 10\% of the effective throughput of IEEE802.11b WLAN by enabling RTS/CTS.
