In conventional acoustic computerized tomography (A-CT) using fixed transducers, the transducers are located at equal intervals along the circumference of the circle. This arrangement is called 'ring array'. However, the ring array is inefficient for measuring the temperature distributions in air by A-CT in rectangular rooms. Therefore, the authors have proposed A-CT using flexibly arranged transducers in convex-shaped spaces. In this paper, the authors study on two reconstruction algorithms of A-CT in a concave-shaped space. In these two algorithms, the concave-shaped space is considered as convex-shaped parts. In one method, the temperature distributions are reconstructed in each divided part. In the other method, partial projection data are interpolated in each divided part, and entire projection data are obtained by combining the original projection data and the partial projection data. By numerical simulations, it is confirmed that both methods can reconstruct the distributions. However, bents of errors are different. |
