(in English) This paper proposes making manual for horticultural activity on stress relief program for improving social-welfare and medical service consumers’ of quality of life through the use of the community based horticultural activity program. This research baseline problem is about the action-research into Horticultural activity within the field of social-welfare and medical service at Minami Kyushu University in Miyazaki Prefecture, This action-research was engaged in horticultural activity for psychiatric rehabilitation in psychiatric hospitals, workplaces for the mental disabled include developmental disability, children’s shelters, the daycare centers for the elderly, the daycare center for children, the community home for the juvenile delinquent, the free school for children needs educational support ,the rehabilitation centers for the elderly and community garden at university campus for community based program.
