| 抄録 | （和） | 大学1、2年生の後期の基礎ゼミで、授業内容と並行してオンライン上でラーニング・ポートフォリオ(Learning Portfolio; LP)の毎週投稿を受講生に課した。1週間全体について、全受講内容を振り返って興味深かった特定の科目内容について社会での活用場面を考察し、また社会活動を振り返って活用可能な授業内容を考察して、受講生は毎週LPを投稿した。後期全体のLPの投稿に関する評定の結果、受講生はLPに積極的に取り組み、授業内外の振り返りを通じて自分の成長につながったと認識したが、授業内容と授業外活動の結びつけた考察は難しかった。受講生の継続可能性を考えると、毎週の投稿、1回の投稿の文字数は400文字程度、所要時間は1時間以内が適切と考えられた。教員のコメントはLPの継続の動機づけを高めるとの評定結果であり必要と考えられるが、教員の負担度を考慮したLPの運営が必要である。基礎ゼミで、毎週LPを交換して話し合うことで、教員や受講生どうしの連帯感が強まると考えられる。 |
| （英） | In first-year and second-year seminars, students were assigned homework requiring them to upload entries in a learning portfolio (LP) to a designated web site every week concurrently with ordinary lessons. Students selected what they considered to be the most impressive lesson in a given week and reflected on ways to put the material contained in the lesson to practical use. Additionally they reflected on their experience outside the classroom in order to relate this experience to material covered in the lessons. Responses from student evaluations given in the final lessons of the semester indicated that the students had positive feelings about the LPs and recognized that the LPs helped them grow as students. But the results also indicated that students had difficulty comprehending connections between the material presented in lessons and out-of-class experiences. Additionally results indicated that the appropriate amount of time for students to spend writing LP entries should be less than one hour per week and contain an average of about 400 words. This would give the students sufficient time to continue to work on the LPs throughout the semester. Students indicated that the instructor’s comments increased their motivation to continue working on the LPs, so instructors should comment on student LP entries every week, even though the instructors might view this as a heavy load on their work schedule. Instructors should make time to meet with students to discuss LPs in class. This ideally would increase reciprocal understanding between instructors and students and create a sense of solidarity in the class as a whole in the courses in which LPs are assigned. | |
