Usage of service enablers for IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) Application and related standard specifications

(in English) Currently, the technology of IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) is widespread, and the investigation of IMS application services is also advanced. In OMA (Open Mobile Alliance), service enablers which are fundamental elements of applications, have been studied, and the relationship between IMS and service enablers is also studied. In this paper, we describe the overview of enabler related IMS and also show the significance points about the relationship between IMS and service enablers, the reuse of service enablers, and combination of service enablers. In order to verify the feasibility assessment about usage of service enablers on IMS environment, we implemented the experimental IMS application’s environment based on open-sources. Lastly, we describe evaluations by using a prototype system on the IMS application’s environment.
