Education in signal processing using learning management system

(in English) This paper introduces education in signal processing using a learning management system in the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kumamoto University. There are two classes for a compulsory subject Signal Processing I. The authors
take charge of each class. A learning management system WebCT is commonly used to provide online contents and assessments for the classes. Evaluation of the students' grade shows that the system is useful for students' learning through the online assessments and maintaining the equivalence of the subject between the classes.
