The mechanism and characteristics of electromagnetic disturbances emitted from LED and fluorescent bulbs.
Shin Kanno, Yoshiharu Akiyama (NTT) EMCJ2010-15
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The illuminator using high luminance LED gains power as an electronic device in recent years upgrades. Only the inverter circuit is not installed in such an equipment, and it is feared that the electromagnetic interference wave that these equipment are generated influences the movement of a surrounding electric electronic equipment not only the office but also becoming a situation in which two or more illuminators are used at the same time, and domestically.
In this report, the result of evaluating the conduction emission, the radiated emission, and both characteristics is shown about the LED lamp that has become low-priced especially recently, and consideration from the product structure (circuit configuration and part mounting) is shown about the cause of electro-magnetic disturbances generation.
