Measuring Quality of Activities of Technical Committee on Communication Quality by Text Mining Analysis

(in English) Technical Committee on Communication Quality (the CQ Committee) started in 1996 and is in action of its 15th year. During the past 14 years, Circumstances around the area of information and communication changed much like spread of broadband communication, popularization of new info-communication terminals such as cellular phones and smart phones, advent of various info-communication services and so on. It is interesting and necessary for consideration of the CQ Committee’s future direction to analyze the past activities of the CQ Committee and to compare them with the circumstances. Accordingly this paper reports analysis results of the technical reports’ title that appeared in the technical meetings sponsored by the CQ Committee for these 14 years. The analysis is based on a method of text mining and reveals the important key words which have a large occurrence count and change of the key words year by year.
