(in English) When a timing of audio and video slips off, how will detection thresholds, perceptions of a sense of incongruity, and estimates of asynchronous quantity change under the conditions of English, Japanese, and non-verbal sound for Japanese audiences? In addition, how will those differ between audio delay conditions and video delay conditions? To investigate those problems, we conducted a subjective estimation experiment on auditory-visual asynchronies with movie excerpts.
