A Simple Interleaver Design for Variable-Length Turbo Codes

(in English) In recent wireless standards, variable frame length turbo codes are used.Bit error rate (BER) and frame error rate (FER) of turbo code are largely determined by the interleaver structure. One of the good interleavers commonly considered in the literature is $S$-random interleaver. However, finding longer length interleaver with good spreading property is time-consuming and storage of multiple interleavers is necessary in order to meet a variable frame-length requirement. In this paper, we propose a new interleaver referred to as {\em block-random interleaver} which can be constructed with lower computation and has a higher flexibility in terms of frame length and performance.
