A study on methods for solo play synthesis with a spherical speaker array

(in English) We have constructed a spherical loudspeaker array that has 26 multi-channel loudspeakers on its surface and can reproduce multi-directional sound radiated from a single musical instrument like a guitar or a violin.
Ordinarily, a radiated sound of an instrument has characteristic directional feature that depends on the kind of the instrument.
Therefore, this paper propose a method for synthesizing multi-channel sound with the characteristic directionality by the following two steps; i) the system constructs the instrument-kind-dependent sound radiation directionality model as FIR filter preliminarily, and ii) it synthesizes the multi-channel sound by applying the model to the source monaural sound.
