[Invited Talk] Sensor Network Testbed X-Sensor and Studies on Wireless Sensor Networks

(in English) Many studies on wireless sensor networks are actively devoted such as network protocols and data management technologies. However, almost all of these studies conduct performance evaluations by simulation experiments because it is very difficult to construct real environments for experiments. We are designing and implementing a sensor network testbed, named X-Sensor, that integrates multiple wireless sensor networks deployed at different sites in order to make it easy for researchers to conduct experiments in real environments. This talk presents the current state of and future prospects for X-Sensor, and brief introductions of our researches which utilize X-Sensor.
