An Approach to Reduce Illegal Content Redistributions of P2P Video Sharing System Using Multiple Secret Sharing Scheme

(in English) CGM (Consumer Generated Media) based video sharing services are one of the killer applications among the current Internet services. These video sharing services generate a huge amount of traffic compared to conventional web services. Hence P2P technologies are expected to scale out the system without sacrificing the users' browsing experience. However, it is difficult to prevent copyright violations. We proposed a method to encrypt the video and to divide the encryption key into partial keys using the secret sharing scheme, but partial keys needs to be re-distributed to other P2P node when a new content is added. We propose a multiple secret sharing scheme based method which allows to add new contents without updating the distributed information owned by the nodes.
