We proposed and developed the prototype of the OBFN that possesses a capacity of amplitude and phase of 2 optical beams leading to controlling beam directions and width in antenna radiation pattern.
Therefore, we demonstrated beam steering at 18 GHz and confirmed that this OBFN can adjust the beam width almost two times and beam direction. These results confirm the feasibility of the multiple-beam optically controlled beam forming. |
