Evaluation of Inverter Output Voltage with Direct RMS control Method

(in English) In Electric Double Layer Capacitors(EDLCs) application, boost-type converter is employed for compensate voltage drop of EDLC such as in boost-converter inverter system. To employ boost-converter to compensate voltage drop of EDLCs may lower the conversion efficiency because the system often needs two energy conversion stages. Our proposed inverter system powered from EDLCs compensate the voltage drop by modulation strategy so that conversion efficiency can be improved. In this paper, we discuss steady and transient state output voltage characteristics using proto-type circuit.
