In recent years, the supply voltage of ICs (Integrated Circuit) tends to be lower. So high-step-down voltage ratio is required to a DC-DC converter on nearby ICs. This paper presents a buck type DC-DC converter with a coupled inductor which enables high-step-down voltage ratio as well as decreasing the voltage and current peak of the power devices. The basic performance analysis of the proposed DC-DC converter is demonstrated and evaluated from a simulated and experimental results. |
