(in English) The walking characteristics of the visually impaired differ with apriority, postnatal characteristics, the age that won became blind. Furthermore, the factor to control a walking characteristic is introduced to many divergences. The factors are a place of residence, a walk place, the frequency of the walk, the purpose of the walk, guide dog, and personal taste. Based on hearing, this paper reports walking characteristics related in the development of the navigation system for visually impaired.
