Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this study, we study on a distribution fitting used in a multiple sound source localization method based on speech sparseness. In the method,we calculate multiple correlation matrices using multiple forgetting factors.Sound source directions are estimated by the Root-MUSIC method using the correlation matrices. Then, a histogram is estimated by weighting the signal power to each the result. In addition, we verify a method for estimating an initial value and the number of sources by searching peaks appeared in the histogram which is constructed roughly.Several experimental results in an actual room environment are shown to present the ability of the method.
