The residual thickness of zinc and section area of steel of the several messenger wire for communication which constructed on the electric pole in the four area of the different corrosive environment, were measured in the actual field by using trial manufactured Eddy current testing (ECT) meter. Applicability of the constructed method to the electric pole and the class of wire was studied, and made clear the several problem for practical use, and also find a solution to them. In this study, ECT measurement and cutting survey were conducted in the experimental room, as for the several diameter’s wire which were same class of the field’s measurement. In this result, Diagnosis method of messenger wire for communication by ECT seems to be possible. |
