Influence on sound absorption loss by the acidification in the ocean

(in English) The sound sbsorption loss in the seawater is the very important factor in the estimate of sound propagation. However, recently, CO2 density in the atmosphere increases, also the dissolved quantity in the seawater gradually has become large. Because of that, acidification of the seawater (pH advances decrease) quickly, sound absorption loss decreases, influence to sound propagation feels concern. In this report, the αto the arctic from tropical sea was calculated by the actual CTD observation data. The calculation result 2000 and 2100 was compared, the next several conclusions were shown. (1) Influence appears in long distance sound propagation with the decrease of absorption loss, (2) the propagation loss difference in low frequency（<1kHz）, when depth becomes deep, is a tendency which becomes large, (3) with the shallow sea, Δαin the high latitude sea becomes large depending upon the influence of water temperature and salinity.
