Image Enlargement Based on Nearest Neighbor Interpolation and Data-Dependent Processing

(in English) We propose a simple twice enlargement method for bitmap images. In the proposed method, a tentative enlarged image is first obtained by using the nearest neighbor interpolation. Then, a weight is calculated for each pixel using intensities of the tentative image, and used for intensity modification. Experimental results show that the interpolation performance of the proposed method is superior to the bicubic interpolation.
