(in English) A Delta Sigma Analog/Digital converter using frequency modulation (FM) intermediate signal is a promising device for sensor applications. It features high SNR and high dynamic range as well as wide frequency range. In this paper, we report on the application of the FM ΔΣ ADC to microphone sensors. We used the condenser microphone as a capacitor in the LC resonator of the oscillator. This permits us to directly convert sound
signal into FM signal. We fabricated a prototype device and demonstrated proper operation.
