In this study, a numerical method for sound wave propagation in time domain is proposed based on the synthesis of two numerical results calculated by two different numerical methods in frequency domain. The synthesized result is then transformed into time domain. One numerical method considered is FDTD method which has good amplitude characteristic, and another is the CIP method which has good phase characteristic. In the proposed method, the amplitude characteristic of the FDTD method and the phase characteristic of the CIP method are synthesized in frequency domain, then it is transformed into time domain. Some numerical demonstrations are made for the one- and two-dimensional sound field. It is confirmed that the accurate analysis can be performed by the proposed method under the certain numerical condition. |
