Study of Optical Wireless Power Supply System for Mobile Phone with DSC and OLED

(in English) Optical wireless power supply system with dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC) and organic light emitting diode (OLED) was studied for mobile phone. Recently, several wireless power supply technologies for example electromagnetic induction, electro magnetic resonance, microwave and laser transmit electricity were proposed for easily and comfortably charging. However, there were some difficulty for practical use because of safety, legal regulation and electric wave interference. We propose the Organic PV and EL system using visible light for power source. In this paper, we have made a trial product and have estimated the generating power of DSC and OLED system. As results, we showed that 40k lux intensity of OLED light andη40% visible light conversion efficiency DSC system could generate 0.1W power.
