A study on establishment for dual IP connection through legacy cellular network

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Some of legacy cellular networks, e.g. GPRS, may not support IPv6 addressing but only IPv4, while LTE terminal with capability of both IPv4 and IPv6 addressing could connect via such the legacy cellular network or when the terminal having IPv6 connectivity performs handover, the terminal would lose the IPv6 connectivity which has been established before connecting to the network (e.g. handover). This paper proposes a method for the terminal to establish IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity even in the case the attached network is the legacy cellular network which provides no support of IPv6 feature.
