Recently, the finite difference method, a tool for wave acoustic simulations, can be applied to practical analysis. Due to the development of the computer technology, the wave acoustic simulation is applied to large space. In that case, the attenuation by absorption during the propagation can not be neglected. The relaxation attenuation plays an important role in the low frequency region. A set of evolution equations which takes account of the relaxation attenuation is considered. The finite difference in time domain simulation is carried out by these equations. It is shown that frequency characteristics of the attenution is reproduced well by the time domain simulation. |
