Study for practical use of thermoacoustic cooling system

Thermoacoustic cooling system can cool by the inputting heat. We use the solar energy which constantly falls to earth as a way of the inputting heat. We input heat to this system by focusing the solar energy using Fresnel lens, and adjusting the focus to the heat inputting part. As a result, the temperature of the heat inputting part became high, exponential temperature gradient forms at both ends of energy conversion device put in tube. In this report, we examined to realize using solar energy for driving and cooling. Then, we succeeded to cool down heat output part. Toward long-term driving, we examined from April to December because the amount of solar energy depends on the season. The results showed that the cooling capacity can vary by season. |
