Consistency Preservation of Replicas Considering Access Frequency for Contents Sharing in Hybrid Peer-to-Peer Networks

(in English) Various consistency maintenance strategies of contents sharing in Pure P2P networks have been researched recently. But the ones applied in Hybrid P2P networks in wihich contents and their locations are known by the central server, have not been investigated enough. In Hybrid P2P networks, when upadate of a content happens on a peer, it is relatively easy to propagate the update to all the peers which have the content's replicas. Therefore, in this report, we propose a method which maintains consistency among the content's replicas in a practically effective way when the contents are updated. In this method, the peers which have the content's replicas accessed frequently are previously selected, and updated contents are propagated to the peers on a priority basis. Further more, we discuss the effectiveness of the proposal by using computer simulations.
