To realize bulk-heterojunction structure in an organic photovoltaic cell, the solubility for n-type and p-type organic materials is necessary. As a result, the multilayer structure is difficult for the bulk-heterojunction structure. We investigated an electrospray deposition technique to improve the device performance of the organic photovoltaic cell. In this study, we estimated the concentration and the surface morphology of the organic thin film fabricated by the electrospray deposition method. We found that the concentration of the organic thin film was almost same as the organic solution. In addition, the low vapor pressure and the high dielectric constant of the organic solvent is important factor to improve the surface roughness. |
