Effects of filled pinna on sound localization and HRTFs in the median plane

(in English) We focus on a relationship between head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) on the median plane and anthropometric parameters. In our previous report, effects of a pinna on the HRTFs were examined using a pinna replica. This paper reports the effects of pinna shape on HRTFs and sound localization in the median plane. Measurement results of actual/replica pinnae whose parts are filled by clay reveal that both of HRTFs and sound localization are affected by filling the pinna parts.
