(in English) This paper proposes a method to automatically detect Place Type that is the one of the presence attributes in NW. One function is added to monitor user’s stay time in NW. Hence, a clear distinction is made between necessary “stay” as Place Type and unnecessary “movement”. It shortens the time when NW detects what user’s Place Type changed to change monitor time, using “a characteristic of the access network” and “a past stay history”.
